Zipf-Air Team

Over 100 years of combined experience installing and troubleshooting HVAC systems has earned the Zipf-Air team its outstanding reputation within the heating and cooling industry. The Zipf-Air team continually seeks to improve itself, and the Zipf-Air team’s latest efforts paid off as they have recently earned certification under “Service Technician for Air Conditioning, Equipment, & Systems” from North American Technician Excellence (NATE). Now the Zipf-Air team may proudly offer customers even more than they could before.

The Zipf-Air team is composed of two licensed sheetmetal journeymen, and two pipefitter journeymen:

• JOHN ZIPF, President and CEO, has lead the Zipf-Air team in the heating, air conditioning and air purification business since 1987. John has an Associates Degree in HVAC - Install/Design from Rankin Technical College. He holds a Journeyman Sheetmetal & Pipefitter license. He also holds a Master Water Heater license.
  
  John perpetually broadens his knowledge of the HVAC field and product line - TRANE®. He is a member of the Air Conditioning Contractors Association, The Mechanical Contractors Association, the Sheetmetal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association.

• MARK WAHLE, our Service Manager, has over 25 years in the field. He received his degree from Rankin Technical School. Mark has speciallised training in sheetmetal fabrication, zoning, installation, and he has his Journeyman license for water heater installation. Mark is a member of the Local 36 - Sheetmetal Union.
  
  

• JACK LYONS ­ has over 25 years of experience in the field. He received his initial training from the Basic Institute of Technology. Jack is a sheetmeal Journeyman. His specialty is sheetmetal fabrication and zoning. He is a member of the Local 36 - Sheetmetal Union.


• MARK STRUTTMANN ­ Mark also has over 25 years of experience in the HVAC field. He recently joined the Zipf-Air team as a Pipefitter Apprentice. He began his education in the field by attending North County Technical. He is a member of the Pipefitters Local 562. He continues his education by taking classes through the union hall and from various product vendors.
  
  
• SCOTT STOKER­ Scott received his associates degree in HVAC-R from Vatterott College. He has 8 years of experience in the field with an emphasis in commercial and residential heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
