Trane Voyager™ & Trane Precedent™ Commercial Packaged Air Conditioning Units

Trane Precedent™: 3 - 10 ton light commercial convertible packaged air conditioners.

The Trane Precedent™ is a packaged rooftop air conditioner with the flexibility to span the entire spectrum of light commercial applications. The Precedent™ features a sleek compact cabinet, rounded corners and beveled top. It also includes a long line of options, ranging from choice controls and electromechanical controls to the highly sophisticated ReliaTel microprocessor controls. The Trane units that have convertible airflow do not come prepackaged, but customers may select, order, and pay only for the selected custom options, listed below:

Trane Voyager™: 12½ - 25 ton light commercial packaged units with ReliaTel microprocessor controls.

The Voyager™ 12½ to 25 ton rooftop air conditioner provides the ultimate indoor comfort with easy installation and simplified maintenance incorporated into the design. The Voyager’s quality tested components minimize potential downtime and possible malfunctions that could result in expensive service calls.

The Voyager™ contains the best compressor technology of the 21st Century. Trane constructed the Voyager’s scroll compressors to ensure up to five years of outstanding system operation. Each Voyager has a scroll compressor built with cast iron orbiting scrolls, journal bearings, and optimized involute geometry.

The Voyager’s drum and tube heat exchanger design increases efficiency, reliability and extends the life of the Voyager air conditioning units by utilizing aluminized stainless steel components with durability tested, industry proven, tube and drum technologies. The hot surface igniter employs electricity to light the gas burner; thus eliminating any need for a pilot, which could accidentally blow out.

Housed with a family of sensors and wall-mount devices, the Trane Voyager’s ReliaTel controls accurately orchestrate the air conditioner’s operations, whether the ac unit is heating, cooling, or economizing.
